Notes:1. In accordance with international standard, China's external debt statistics were adjusted in 2001. So its coverage is

not comparable to the original coverage. Therefore, "Y-o-y Growth" for 2001 was not calculated.

2. In 2015, China adjusted the statistical coverage of external debt according to the SDDS of the IMF and simultaneous-

ly released to the public the full-scale external debt data,including the RMB-denominated external debt, which was

classified into the short-term external debt and medium-and long-term external debt by contract term. For compara-

bility, external debt data in 2014 was adjusted to the full-scale data. As the full-scale external debt data are not

comparable with the previous ones (the original coverage was data of external debt in foreign currencies), the

"Y-o-y Growth" for 2014 was not calculated.
