population census in 2010. |

Data by residence before 2000 were from the divisions of administrative
areas. Since 2000, data have been estimated on the national population |

and the basis of the annual national sample surveys on population
changes,which regard "The provisions on the division of urban and |
|
| rural
areas" as standard. |
